SLITHER emerged on the San Diego rock scene in early 2005. It was apparent from the very beginning that this was no ordinary rock band. Influenced by the likes of AC/DC, Guns n' Roses, The Cult and Nirvana, SLITHER seeks to fill what they see as a current void for classic rock with a modern edge. This hard working quartet supplies a brand of high energy riff based rock that has somehow been missing for the last decade. Featuring frontman Doug Lozier on Vocals, Brent Wright on Guitar, Matt Miller on Bass and Tony "The Animal" Schmitt on Drums, SLITHER always seems to bring out the best in a crowd creating a party atmosphere with their raw and energetic guitar driven sound.
